Product description

György Thuri (1519-1571), known as "the Hungarian El Cid," as the captain of Palota Castle, tried to help with constant raids with his unpaid soldiers. As an excellent duelist, he won more than six hundred duel fights, earning him the nickname "Danube lion" by the Turks. Eventually, he was lured into a trap and killed with his 150 horsemen. His head was cut off and sent to Istanbul.
